Palace of Fine Arts San Francisco Sunrise Color
It was my first time to capture the sunrise colorful clouds formation over the Palace of Fine arts. Normally, I do not see this type photos in Palace of fine arts with the colorful clouds in the sunrise or sunset time.
The colorful clouds lasted no more than 5 minutes as I remember ??? It wasn’t that easy to capture it since the the hard shadow area in the left side was very dark. I was shooting the early in the morning in here about 5:3am. At that time there were no clouds over here. Luckily the these clouds moved in about at 6:45am before the sunrise light hit the clouds. One of my very lucky snapshot of the day. I still have much more to learn how to take these snapshots. More practice will help :-))
P.S. no photoshop work of this shot 🙂 What you see is what you get. it was done by .9 + .75 Lee soft edge filter. 7:11am 8 seconds exposure time. The magic work by the Lee GND filters :-)))))
